HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR

#1 Postby wyq614 » Wed Feb 06, 2008 3:58 am

Today (6 February) is Chinese Lunar New Year's Eve, and tomorrow is Chinese Spring Festival. In China, Spring Festival is as important as Christmas in the western countries. So I'm inviting you to share the happiness here in China, and wish you a happy CHINESE SPRING FESTIVAL.

The character 福 means good fortune, often put upside down when pasted on the front door, for a 倒福 (an upside down fu) just reminds one of 福到 (the arrival of good fortune).

Well, that represents my wish para todos.

Enjoy!

Thank you for your wishes, today has been 4 January of the Chinese Lunar Calendar. The major celebrations are over now, and we're waiting for the last celebration event on 15 January, which is the Lanterns' Day
