Hi, I'm new here.

#1 Postby Doggirl3 » Sun Feb 10, 2008 3:40 pm

I just join this forum. I love watching and learning from weather people that I watch on television.
I do talk on another great forum called WeatherTalk.com, but their forum has upgrade where I couldn't post new posts, just replied on the other people posts, and on top of that another forum went down called http://www.georgiapeach.net. So I hope I'm welcome here.

Welcome to Storm2K forums. If you like tropical weather, then you'll love it. TV offers almost nothing for learning compared to the internet so usually the best information comes from offical weather offices and forums.

Welcome to Storm2k forums! I am always out in the weather with my job, I am a school crossing guard for the elementary school behind my house. Weather here in FL can change in minutes sometimes for good and other times for the worse.

:) Thanks guy for the welcome. I have sort of learn from television alittle about vortex signature. The weather people on television always telling how to read the radar. Dan Satterfield even once told about his days as a storm chaser get his ears deafen by a lighten strike for a few hours I think he said once. I even figuire out by watching the weather on a hurricane once that they acted like tornado by following a trowl line & that the storms ahead of that trowl or draft line are always being pulled by a hurricane. It weird how that seems like on radars. Again thanks for the welcome.

WELCOME DOGGIRL3!! :D

Dennis (azsnowman) is actually one of the first people I met in a weather forum. He is very well respected and has a silly sense of humor. :D

We love having new members join the family. This is THE PLACE to learn all about weather.
