This is one of those stories that makes me wonder "What is up with some of these people?" This was an attempted murder-suicide because of the fact that she and her kids are homeless and she's out of a job. The good news is that the mother and the 2 kids are all expected to survive.

Woman throws kids from I-30 overpass

DALLAS — Dallas police say 27-year-old Khandi Busby threw two of her children from the Jim Miller Road overpass into rush hour traffic on Interstate 30 Wednesday morning. She then leaped 22 feet to the pavement below.
The boys, ages 6 and 8, were rushed to Children's Medical Center for treatment. The 8-year-old was in critical condition at noon Wednesday; the 6-year- old was in good condition.
