Drug Vernacular
I heard a man on the sidewalk in front of our house talking on a cell phone. He said, I don't even want to touch the stuff, its in sheets. Does anyone know if this refers to drugs in anyway. The neighborhood has been having a lot of problems recently which the HCSO is trying to clean up. I wasn't sure if this was just an innocent conversation or not. He sounded afraid and that's what got my attention. I've never heard the term sheets in reference to drugs. Any ideas?

I wouldn't jump to any conclusions. I don't think it's anything to be worried about. I've never heard of drugs referred to as "sheets" and I've watched alot of Cops.

I would contact your local authorities and ask them if it means anything to them. In my younger years LSD was sold in sheets with multiple doses on each sheet. Who knows what it was about but no harm in contacting the authorities, especially if there has been a drug problem in the area.

Re: Drug Vernacular
It is LSD. It comes in sheets and is cut into small squares called blotter. It is not the LSD we knew back in the sixties. It is now generally a junk drug heavily laced with amphetamines and strychnine.
It is not the size of bed linen. A "sheet" is the size of a piece of notebook paper. The paper has the ability to absorb the liquid drug. It is taken by mouth. One sheet can contain hundreds of "hits" of LSD.

Thank you for your ideas. I had thought it might have to do with crack. I've seen pieces on COPS too and it looks like little irregular pieces, but I sure don't know what it looks like before they chop it up. I wondered if they called it sheets.

Sounds like Acid (LSD) to me.Since they soak a large piece of paper which squares can be torn out of in the LSD.The acid tabs (1 square) are then put on the tongue. A sheet looks like this : http://www.dea.gov/photos/lsd/lsd_blott ... _sheet.jpg
As for crack, crack is sold in rocks usually and collectively as a "bundle" of crack.
So your best bet is that if it WAS drugs it was acid. But could have been anything really.
PS : Drugs are for losers.
