*raises hand*

The pain is the worst. That and my ears get plugged up and begin to hurt. I had a major sinus infection about 3 years ago. I was diagnosed, not only with a sinus infection, but a double ear infection. I spent a miserable week in pain before it eased..

I keep Bendryl and Claratin-D on hand to ease the sinus headache before it can get too bad.

Ditto! THe only thing that helps me are 2 sinutabs (which I can't find anymore)and 4 excedrin extra strength when I get it real bad, otherwise I try to deal with it.

I also can recommend SinuCleanse. It's a nasal wash and it can help clear any congestion in the sinuses.

My recurrent ear and sinus infections, and scratchy nocturnal throat, (which I blamed on dry air and maybe mouth breathing) got much, much better when I started taking Nexium.

I have had one single sinus infection since. Just one. Amazing how far acid reflux travels when you are laying down sleeping.

lol David!!!

I have not cleared up since we came home from Katrina. I am highly allergic to mold and mildrew and I personally do not think this building was cleaned properly when they brought us back home - it was all too quick. My niece told me about two months ago "woman, you are forever fighting sinuses".

My doctor only this week prescribed a nasal steroid. I seem to notice some slight improvement. So I hope this works. I've tried everything else with very little success!

I used to get sinus blockages on a regular basis and would have to get a shot of predisone and also go on antibiotics. The sinus fluid would block my eardrums and cause so much pain and pressure. OUCH It was a constant battle.

I am on blood pressure medicine now and something, I don't know whether it's the diuretic or what, but something is really helping my sinus'.

Saline nasal spray helped.

Have any of you used a Neti pot to cleanse your sinuses? My mother in law keeps pushing the suggestion when my kids or I have an issue. As far as I know she has never tried it, but has heard of it.

That is what SinuCleanse is. You're supposed use it every day, but I never do. I tend to use if I am at home. Sometimes, it works when nothing else does.

My left maxillary and left frontal sinuses hurt tonight. I'm guessing its because I have the a/c on.

The infamous sinus clogging came back to me like a punch in the face.

Luckily, I still have my Nasal Spray.
