Detailing a car?

#1 Postby sunny » Fri Jun 20, 2008 12:39 pm

I bought this instant detailer for my car by Turtle Wax, it's called ICE. I liked it so much that I've decided to try the Clay Bar to remove the tree sap and such. Anyone ever use a clay bar on their car before? If so, any tips or suggestions?

These days, my car is lucky to see a car wash, so no help from me.
I like a neat car and it's a lot of work just to keep the clutter out. Everyone is always leaving junk in it.

I've seen the ad for ICE, does it hurt the clear coat?

Dennis, I LOVED the clay bar and the wax! It is awesome - it should not harm the clear coat at all :)
