"The Happening", a film by M. Night Shyamalan

The Happening... a movie where the planet fights back against the human footprint. The plants feel threatened by pollution, so they have conspired against the northeast United States, emitting a neuro-toxin that causes your brain to go haywire, and make you confused, so you kill yourself. It's the plants only form of defense. It starts in the big cities, and goes to the small towns. Then the roads... then the fields... Is there any hope for mankind?

...

Yeah... you read that right.

THAT was the plot of this movie! What?! A horror movie where people are killed by AIR?! Wow... I don't recommend this movie, unless you like boring horror movies with hokey plots and mediocre acting. Oh... and it's one of the most anti-climactic movies I've ever seen.

Don't see it. Please, go see Wall-E or something.

I had the bad luck of having to review The Strangers for work. Let's just say I watched from underneath my cap.

I'm still upset I wasted over an hour watching what I thought was going to be a good movie, starting out dark but hopeful - I Am Legend.

We had to fast forward thru the second half to see how it ended, we just couldn't take the action anymore.

Thanks for the heads on up this movie - I will definitely not see it.
