That's the name of my new nephew.

From what it sounds like, it seems like they did the right thing. The poor little thing. :(

:( Aww, so sad. Poor baby couldn't find his mommy.
I believe they did the right thing as well. Not that we should interfere with nature but I think in this instance it was okay.

I was also hoping they could save the baby whale. Nature is cruel sometimes isn't it? :cry: Even though it can be harsh, like OTown I do think it was for the best what was done. Still sad though.

I honestly don't see why this was necessary. Six days is hardly long enough for something to be called a wild goose chase. Before clicking on the article I thought it would be about a beached whale with some disfigurement, but this is just sad. They really could have done more for this whale and eased suffering at the same time.
