Sounds like he may have suffered some sort of head injury like Natasha Richardson did. He was on a flight that made a rough landing in Tampa yesterday and hit his head, his wife has told police he was not feeling well last night.

It sounds like a head injury like Natasha Richardson. From what i've read on tmz.com he wasn't wearing his seatbelt when his plane landed and blew out a tire and he hit his head.

Add to this, two deaths of friends in the last couple months: One 37-year-old man who fell out of bed and hit his head. He died a couple days later after complaining of not feeling well; the other a 53-year-old woman who had a heart attack in her sleep.

Whoa, the law of threes has been broken.

On my flight back from Sacramento less than two weeks ago I was reading an article about Billy Mays's life and career in the magazine American Airlines provides in the pouches behind each seat. In between taking pictures of weather and scenery from the plane I accidentially took a picture of that page...and I left it in the photo group because I thought it'd be funny to interject the collection of photos with "HI, BILLY MAYS HERE!"

I am quite sure that I saw Billy Mays' plane on the runway yesterday as I was leaving the airport. There was a fire truck and a few other cars behind a parked plane. The timing seems right (10p). How many times each day does a plane stop on the runway with fire trucks at TPA?

Just the other day I was telling my sister that his hair looks way too black and that I was sure he dyed it. Not that there's any connection with that to his death but that's my last time I saw him on TV.

He's going to be missed. I really liked Pitchmen but without Mays, it looks like the show may get canceled because he was basically the show.

This is another surprising death. What a 6 day period it has been! I watched him on The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien last week with Ed S. Pretty depressing.

Flight was on the landing roll out when the front tires blew.

How many times have were heard.....stay in your seat with your seat belt fastened until the aircraft reaches the gate and comes to a complete stop.

I really wonder if this "wasn't wearing a seatbelt" excuse is just the FAA washing their hands of this incident. Because every article that I have read says something from above him (luggage?) hit him in the head. How does a seat belt stop something from falling on you?
