BREAKING: Massacre at Foot Hood, TX-many dead

This just happened. Details are just coming in. The 3 cable news networks are covering it. I suggest going to the websites to find out more details.

7 dead, 12 injured so far. 1 gunman found. 1 on the loose.

Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison was told 7 dead and about 30 wounded. This is horrible!! :(

There was a graduation ceremony at Fort Hood today.

Could be domestic terrorism or maybe they were actual soldiers that lost it. Or maybe its something else. Who knows.

Situation still ongoing, shots fired at a soldiers residence. This looks like some kind of organized preplanned event to me.

Obviously the name is going to raise a few eyebrows, but its not like a new private who did this. It takes many years of service to get to the rank of major.

It's hard to believe he was just distraught about being deployed. You don't want to go so you shoot up 42 of your fellow soldiers, killing 11 of them? Yeah, right. This wasn't fly off the handle and go on a shooting spree. The shootings were done execution style and obviously premeditated.
I've heard the media report that terrorism isn't suspected. So what is a recent convert to Islam who murders a bunch of people on a military base? It sure sounds like terrorism to me.

Regardless, it's a horrible tragedy and my thoughts and prayers go out to the friends and families of the victims.
