Summer Saturdays!!!

#1 Postby wx247 » Sat May 22, 2010 12:04 pm

I love Saturdays in the summer. While it isn't technically summer yet for me (we get out of school on Tuesday), I have spent the morning trimming the hedges. I also put in a new flower garden. The lawn is mowed and life is grand! 8-)

I love Saturdays, period, but my Spring and Summer Saturdays are pretty much spent the way yours is. Yes, life is grand! :)

Saturdays are nice days. No school. No nothing except maybe getting the chance to lay on the beach. Can't wait for June 9th!

my summer saturdays normally consist of trips to the shore and bottles of corona with lime. Good times.

Summer Saturday's are either camping - usually catching crayfish withy my son in the early morning, using them as bass bait in the late morning, relaxing at the site with a nice family game of horse shoes with some cold ones, topped with a lovely campfire at night while strumming away to some classic Eagles, Skynyrd, Neil Young, and Bob Seger.

Otherwise, it's get up early, vacuum the pool in the backyard, and swim, drink beer, and bbq on charcoal for the rest of the day... and yes, must have my Blue Jays on the radio in the background...

I love summer.

Ahhhh Saturdays.......love them...... Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall. Winter, I'm inside making soup or cooking something and the other seasons I'm usually outside working in the yard. Every season I'm drinking some Chardonnay. LOL :cheesy:
