That is one of two places I would never go to on a place (the other being Hong Kong). One day one of those places is gonna land on that road/beach. That beach oughta be shut down.

I've seen pictures of planes landing at St. Maarten right over the beach, but they seemed a little bit higher on the approach. I can't even imagine driving with one of those things flying right above me. I wonder how many accidents there have been from that.

THEN, the runway is so short that the plane has to go almost vertical to liftoff to avoid the mountains. WOW!! :eek:
