Dear fellow members of Storm2k,
I am a young weather enthusiast (22) who has participated on the Storm2k forums since 2005. Just during the past two weeks I have found that I have been accepted to meteorology/atmospheric science graduate school at Penn State, Florida State, and UMiami. This is truly a blessing to me because while I have loved meteorology since the age of seven, I am a history major in college (though I have taken a good deal of math and physics).
I want to thank all my fellow members at Storm2k for cultivating my interest and giving me a forum with which to voice my opinions, and more importantly, learn A LOT.
Alex
Thank you Storm2k!

That is awesome Alex!!! Just being accepted at those three schools is an accomplishment itself!!! Looking forward to giving you that met badge. Thank you for your kudo's to the site. Knowing that we had just a little something to do with your decision makes all the "hard work" worth it.
Fact789(Jonathan) is at FSU in the met school and Hurukan is getting ready to graduate with his BS in Meteorology from FIU(I think that is where he is)He can correct me if I am wrong. I do know he is working/interning at NHC.

Re: Thank you Storm2k!
The important thing with this is that Storm2k is being a source for people to go to important places to study or to work and that is extraordinary. Congratulations Alex!
