CHICAGO, Aug. 27 — A workplace shooting in a South Side industrial building resulted in “multiple deaths,” authorities said. Six people were shot in the attack, including the gunman, who was arrested, police said.

Chicago police say an employee on the verge of losing his job opened fire this morning at Windy City Core Supply on the city's near southwest side. The medical examiner's office says seven people are dead, including the shooter.
