"Carmageddon DFW"

#1 Postby TexasStooge » Fri Sep 09, 2011 6:24 am

Remember when Los Angeles had their "Carmageddon" with the temporary closure of I-405 2 months ago? Well, this is Dallas/Fort Worth's version of it. Parts of I-635 in Dallas will be closed off with the demolition of the Joe Ratcliff pedestrian bridge. Although it's not gonna be a complete closure, it'll still cause some travel headaches. So those traveling to or around Dallas, take alternative routes.

Long story short: Avoid LBJ Freeway in Dallas this weekend (from The Dallas Morning News)
