Re: Texas Plant Explodes; Many feared dead
As of this time fatalities are between 5 and 15 including first responders with injures at least 180. A 5 block radius around the plant was basically destroyed with many homes leveled. A nursing home and an apartment complex were also heavily damaged. The apartment complex appears to be totally unliveable. I have seen no pictures of the nursing home, but information coming out last night was that many walls were breached, doors and windows blown outco with most of the roof gone and rescuers literally pulling patients out from under collapsed walls and ceilings.

The news level is becoming crazy, after being quite quiet for weeks beforehand when NK was the main story for many days it just exploded (no pun here) starting on Monday. There has been many events during the last 5 days now. Just imagine a major tornado outbreak on top of all that...the news cycle would look like the last week of April 2011 when there was an insane concentration of major news stories. Now just this overnight there is continuous breaking news on almost all news outlets about more shootings and bombings including naked suspects and mass police and FBI presence.
