7. When other sites have had problems, this site has stayed rock solid and has become a new home for many refugees
6. The tireless efforts of the mods and admins to keep this place from becoming troll city is tremendous

*The forums- we have got everything imaginable!
*The mods and admins.- Kudos to y'all, you pull this place off like it's nothing!!
*My bar-lol we always have that puppy going!
*The PEOPLE- you are all so amazing!! I wouldn't have ever thought I could make so many great friends with the same love for weather and life, you are all such a blessing and I feel lucky to have met each and every one of you!

Like I said the members... I never thought I could feel as close to a bunch of people on net!!! I guess because when you spend alot of time on S2K..and get to know people... we become more than just internet surfers. we become friends..in some cases one step away from family..for that we are all blessed. TO MY S2K FAMILY!!!!! I LOVE YOU ALL!!! Ok time to go before I get mushy!!!

Happy Birthday everyone I can not believe how FAST this year has gone... What a year it has been.. When we got together and decided to start "storm2k" we never imagined it being this big and this great so fast!!! I would like to first thank the Mod staff for working so hard for us... We have a GREAT team, that works there tail off to help keep this place enjoyable.. I would also like to thank the Forecasting staff as well.. They bust there butt's day in and day out to keep us informed and I for one am GREATLY appreciative...
And Lastly I would like to thank EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU.... For you are the ones that make storm2k what it realy is. we only supplied the foundation.. You all have set the tone... Not hard to keep the place fun and enjoyable when we have a bunch of members such as your selves...
If you havent REALY explored all of storm2k yet then I urge you to please do so.. We are constantly adding and improving here everyday.. Please take some time to breeze through the weather central pages, and drop me a line with any Thoughts, Ideas, and/or Suggestions.. With your help we can get even better!!!
BTW We have many more surprises in store for you all this up coming year... so STAY TUNED!!!!!!!!!!!

But, I would like to mention, that I have noticed that several members have shown their appreciation for the statistics I have posted, thus far.
I assume with this handful of members liking what I have come up with to this point, that there are others that haven't mentioned it themselves.
