Prayers Please!

#1 Postby wx247 » Tue Oct 28, 2003 5:23 pm

Hi everyone. I just found out today that a friend of mine committed suicide on Friday. No one knew on campus until the funeral was over. She was a wonderful person. Always had a smile on her face... I don't know what happened. Apparently I may have been the last person who spoke with her. Please remember her and her family in your prayers.

Thanks everyone. You all mean so much to me.

Garrett - oh that is just so sad. Of course I'll pray for her and her family. Please know that we're here for you, if need be. You mean a lot to all of us here at Storm2K too!

Garrett, I'm so very sorry....I lost a lifelong friend about 16 months ago who took his own life, so know exactly how you feel today. :( I'll remember the young lady and her family in prayer...and also pray for you.

God bless you,
Perry

Thanks everyone. This is why I love Storm2K. Excuse me while I sound a little overdramatic, but it is true.

This place is the best. I never thought it would be possible to bond and become like family online but this site is living proof. We all have our opinions and little disagreements from time to time, but when it is necessary we all band together. I want everyone to know how much I appreciate your support. These next few days and weeks will be trying times for that family but I am sure with lots of prayers they will be able to look back on fond memories of Chris(tina) and cherish the good times. That is what I trying to do as well. These aren't only tears of sadness, but tears of happiness as well for the overwhelming support I have received.

THANKS SO MUCH!!

Such a sad situation. Of all those I have known over the years who have committed suicide, I ALWAYS, always, ask myself, why didn't I take a little more time with them...why didn't they see there were other options...how did things ever get THIS bad?

So sorry to hear of your loss. The questions never have answers.

May God bless you and their family as well.

Garrett,
As you know, I have dealt mith more than my share of suicides and as Steve pointed out, there will never be any answers to the questions you ask yourself. You are in my prayers my friend and if you need anything at all, feel free to PM me.

Much love and many HUGS to you my friend!!
