Gotta add - if it wasn't for Keanu Reeves, I *might* have seen the first and/or second one. For me, he ranks way down there with Angelina Jolie on the talent scale....waaaaay down there.

:) In my opinion, she can't act her way out of a bucket. Apparently, some people think she's attractive and some Oscar voters think she can act. I don't. Looks and talent don't go hand in hand. Looks and success, yeah, maybe. And unfortunately, sometimes looks are what sells tickets.

I saw "Girl, Interrupted" (the film for which she won an Oscar). I wasn't impressed by her or any of it. It felt like a girl-in-distress movie-of-the-week, like the ones you can see almost any weekend on Lifetime. The first thing I recall seeing her in was "Bone Collector." Not impressed but it was a crime thriller and I like thrillers and dramas. Saw part of "Gia." Not impressed, couldn't stand to watch it all. Aside from that, I can't name off the top of my head any other films of hers that I've seen. Never saw "Tomb Raider." I don't care for "Raiders of the Lost Ark"-wannabes and I'm not a big fan of sci-fi/fantasy anyway.

Now if someone can suggest a well-acted role that she or Keanu have done, then maybe I'll change my mind. I used to think very little of Drew Barrymore (outside of her role as Gertie in E.T.). But then I saw "Never Been Kissed." It was actual different, refreshing. She wasn't the same sex-crazed, ditzy, manic bimbo that she usually plays. I was impressed. :)

Yeah, I think I agree with you there Duck, Keanu...nope I don't think he can act either.. to over dramatic! To be honest with you, I havn't seen that many movies with Angelina Jolie so I can't really say much too much about her acting but her looks...ahh well that's all I meant about you being mad!!!! lol!!! Tomb Raider, not an oscar movie but I have to say, I am a fan of the Sci Fi fantasy movies! :)

That movie, "Never been kissed", I thought was really good and yeah, like you said, it wasn't too "crazy" of a role she played.
