I remember shortly after 9/11 I got paranoid after every warning especially with that color coded sugar coated whatever you wanna call it terror alert system.

I'm not as paranoid but I must say that everytime that any of the major news networks has either "Breaking News" or a special report I still get quite nervous.

JetMaxx Speculation is that we will divide into 3 different groups. Group A who are shell shocked and unprepared for what happened or just give up all together. Group B who were prepared and are now hunting group C the Muslems for what happened. I have other info that I will post on Friday nite as I have to get to bed now. It lists the 5 targets in this country that have been named.

That is what I was going to say BEER! I picked up on that immediately. BUT, I do not think they can penetrate us Americans nor could they divide us. 9/11 was proof enough. I know that was a fateful and tragic day, but I certainly wish (HOPE) that we all are like that again and not because of a tragedy.

I remember when Bush told us all to stop whatever we were doing and pray at a certain time. It was done all around the world, at schools, etc. I remember I was going to work when I noticed people stopped on the side of the road and out of their cars bowing their heads. Even at the redlights. One thing that sticks in my mind is all the church bells I heard ringing and the Northrop Grumman whistle blowing. I could also hear the Navy ships and tugboats blowing their horns.

So divide us into 3 groups? NEVER GONNA HAPPEN!! We are too united a people for that. Bring it on is all I can say to those terrorists.

If it's my time to die- it's my time to die. I discovered that as one of lifes great revelations when the helicopters flew lifeflight over controlled airspace in the days following 9/11. I was on the 9th floor of a massive high rise in the city- Houston was being named as a target and several of my officemates wouldn't even come to work because they were so afraid to look out over the city from a skyscraper. (we've since relocated our office to a suburb)

I panicked aobut the helicopter seeming to come straight for my building- I cried in fright until the radio announcers broadcast to everyone that organ transplants were being flown into the medical center on an emergency helecopter. That's when I realized...

I'm gonna die. I'm probably not going to expect it. I may not even be able to prevent it. Life is only going to be as long as it's going to be whether I'm afraid of dying or not... So I decided to NOT be. I'm not going to give those terrorist monkies the satisfaction of my fear.

When is the next half moon? Is it still during Ramadan?

I intially thought that we were discussing a nuclear explosion too since they were discussing splitting the country into three. I can see the idea of the different groups, but I think that they would be looking for something more dramatic and immediate. Perhaps it would be three cities then.

The answers about the moon are: Lunar eclipse on Saturday (blood red). Moon will will be half full about the 15th or so. Also a solar eclipse near the end of Ramadan. Ramadan won't have 2 Eclipses again for 200 years I read somewhere.

Now the splitting of the country could be physical as you never know with these wacko's in a G4 war. The 5 targets are to be nuked in some way apparently. One or two cities to start with followed by public demands made to the Government. If not acted upon then the other cities will go off. Here is one possible scenario from intel sources. I may have to start another thread on this Saturday after I catch up on todays info as there is another with similar targets.

Analysts note: although there are three locations of interest- New York, Washington, DC and Los Angeles, CA, analysts are considering the following scenario:
An initial "blast from the sea" may strike the east coast of New York, possibly in a harbor and/or near the New York-New Jersey border. The nature of this blast will most likely be radiological in nature. Following this blast, it is expected that some type of communication by terrorists will be attempted with US leaders. Failing that, a rapid succession of blasts could occur at the "remaining" locations. For those readers keeping count, this would account for only three (3) attacked cities or sites. Analysts are split between a "fourth" blast in tandem with the third (i.e. Los Angeles AND the Silicone Valley area of California) ---or a "fourth blast elsewhere in the US, possibly at a United States landmark. Sorry about the cryptic part GalvestonDuck. I went a little too far on the cut and paste. It was the actual arabic messages and translation part. From that stuff they got the above intel.

Stephanie don't get too nervous just be more aware of what's going on around you. If you see people running don't go in the direction they are running from. People have a natural curiosity to check out explosions and large fires. I would advise that you watch it on the news and not go investigate it. One of their tactics are: cause a situation and wait for a crowd and EMS to show up. Then strike again causing more cahos. I get my information from many sources and it seem to be fairly reliable. They try to verify from several sources before posting it to the net. They also share intel with the government and are sometimes not allowed to post everything they have found.
