Love him or hate him is the title of the latest time magazine edition. The cover shows Bush with a black eye and the other in a normal way meaning the both sides love him or hate him.IMO it is not respectfull to the president to show him like that but that is my opinion.

I think it's disrespectful to Bush, too.

As much as I couldn't stand Clinton, even seeing him on the cover like that would be wrong.

No, a Clinton cover would have a zipper installed, with a "pop-up" surprise inside it (a cigar ad would work here). :D :D

The cover didn't show up when I visited, so I will have to reserve judgement until I see it.

It is on the top right of the screen when you click the link. He has a black eye under his left eye and a kiss mark on his right cheek.

I can see the picture and it is very undignified, and not the way a leader should be pictured... even if you dont like him.. dont degrade him.. its a cheap shot IMHO!

Isn't TIME magazine notorious for this type of attack on someone they do not agree with?

The Time is a Liberal Rag and some points they make are correct. It is this statement that I think says why people hate him and I love him.

As President, he has moved away from the compromises of triangulation and coalition building to the politics of certainty. He may be wrong, he may be right, but he is never in doubt.

They hate his unwavering certainty and it is that which I love. He will be fighting terrorism to the very day of his replacements inauguration.

That's vey disrespectful to both the man and the office he holds IMO. I agree Jara, he's a man on a mission and it will get done!

It just shows their lack of respect for the man and his office.

The picture came up for me the second time I clicked the link.

I don't love him, but I think there are better ways to present the story of Bush being hated/loved. I was alittle surprised.

To the ones that say that Time is a "liberal" magazine - if he won "man of the year" by that magazine, how would you feel about that magazine then? It just seems to me that once a network, magazine, newspaper, reporter, etc. says smoething negative about the President and his policies, they are "liberal". That's just what it seems to me anyway.

While.. I am not a huge Bush fan.. that picture of him was out of line IMHO.. you can get the point across about the love/ hate relationship the American people have with President Bush without a picture that looks like it belongs on the cover of MAD magazine:):):)

I have always thought TIME to be liberal no matter how they try to cover it up. If he were voted Man of the Year by TIME.. I would question it.
