LONDON (Reuters) - Britain's Gordon Brown may not have become Prime Minister yet but he can take heart that the country's women consider him a sex god to rival actor Jude Law or returning England rugby hero Jonny Wilkinson.
Readers of the Erotic Review magazine voted the man who holds the nation's purse strings as one of the 25 top sex gods in a list that had no place for Brown's boss, Tony Blair, or even England football captain David Beckham.

"He sends our interest rates soaring" said the magazine as it explained its readers' choice of the normally dour Chancellor of the Excheckr.

Hopefully, Brown, 52, won't take that too literally. As he never tires of reminding the country, he handed over control of rate policy to the Bank of England in 1997.
