The Simple Life

#1 Postby hunter84 » Thu Dec 11, 2003 1:46 am

Anybody watching it? I had to tape last nights show just to see what it was like. I can't believe how much these girls have to learn about anything. Flipping off cars as they pass a fastfood place they had to work at and putting up a crude message on the marque just shows how immature they are. I'd be embarrassed to be related to them after watching.

Watched one episode, the one you were refering to. I don't believe that I'll be watching it anymore. The only thing these two girls have going for them is their names and money. Of course Paris has her looks. Nicole looks alright when she is caked with makeup. They seem to look down upon all of these people, making fun of their lives and town.

I think that the network was really stretching to get ratings out of this show. The first episode probably brought viewers, but subsequent episodes will find their viewership declining. IMO

Paris already has the simple life...she don't work really, can go and do just about whatever she wants and has just about everthing handed to her on a silver platter

I haven't caught and episode and I don't plan on it. I did catch the Billboard Music Awards last night. The Hilton girl had some potty mouth! She said the F word on live national television. I guess money doesn't buy everything, her etiquette is seriously lacking.

Even though the show is crude and ridiculous, it's obviously the kind of show that has been working in America lately...people just like to watch that kind of stuff.

I haven't seen it but from what I'm reading here, should it be called "The Simple Show?"
