Sorry... I don't mean to burden ya'll down with this. You have more important problems than this, but I just felt I was "screwed" for lack of a better word.

Let me share some advice I've always given my kids as they've gone thru school (they're in 8th/11th Grades now): always tell the teacher the truth. They've missed important info, didn't pay attention when they should have, etc. I'd say over 60% of the time they admitted they made a mistake the teacher has given them another chance. You see I didn't have the guts to speak up to teachers, politely that is, and so I pretended like I didn't care or so what if I screwed up......I paid the price, got terrible grades in some subjects. You have nothing to lose by contacting the teacher. Don't know what can be done to bring up your grade, other than extra credit. But it sure wouldn't hurt to ask. Just my 2 cents worth.
