I'm looking for an old Mirro Cookie Press cookie recipe:
Holly Wreaths
or
Cream Cheese Holly Wreaths
You use the star disc and create xmas wreaths. Cream Cheese replaces the need for butter. They're so good!!!
If anyone has this recipe, I'd appreciate you posting it. I've lost mine.

Patricia - tried this recipe using shortening and it clogged up my cookie press. I had to add milk to make it more pliable. That worked.
I've decided to substitute butter for shortening in any recipe. Years ago I didn't think twice about using Crisco. Now I'll look at that stuff and think - no wonder people's arteries are clogged up. I know butter does the same thing, but at xmas time butter is the best choice. It just tastes better.
