So who's finished their shopping?

#1 Postby weatherluvr » Sat Dec 20, 2003 11:34 am

Today is what we retailers know will be the busiest shopping day of the year. I haven't even started shopping yet  due to having to fix both cars. But I was wondering if others out there are still shopping, and how many people are done?

I still have to get my youngest son's gift and something for my mother. It is hard to find something for her since she is no longer in her home, but in a nursing home. Everyone else is taken care of as far as a gift is concerned.

LOL It is not that sickening. I like to hang out with the crowds and listen to the music. Plus they have massive bargains too..

You have presents under your tree already??
I guess I oughta get off of here and start wrapping! I had a lot of gifts well before Thanksgiving, but I still had plenty to do afterward as well. Some people wait till the last minute to give me hints. ;)

Alrighty, a few more lazy minutes here, then I'm off to Christmas wrapping wonderland.

Still need my bio. dad, my mom, my grandparents, and one of my friends, though I usually don't buy for friends unless I feel I need to.

Marva DID only have two more gifts to buy but Mr. Marva announced this morning that he really needed to get something for his best friend and since he is half dead with the flu, would I mind going and getting something for him? No, Marva didn't mind at all. Marva also enjoys walking on hot coals....so his friends' stuff is bought (not wrapped) and I still have the two left for Melissa. I DID actually try a mall today but said heck with it and came home. Guess I'll be back out there tomorrow morning. Plus I STILL have all this wrapping to do, am seriously considering those lovely gift boxes with just a freakin bow stuck on them.

Yes Ticka was out shopping today. And woohooo I am finished. I have done 1/2 my wrapping - going to do the other 1/2 tomorrow night and actually have 3 nights for enjoying Christmas and noting worrying about what I haven't done.

What shopping we had was done yesterday; nothing was packaged/wrapped, but given out immediately (mostly new clothes), as we were all in need of them.
