Map with area highlighted;

Looks like it's north of Joshua - somewhere inbetween Los Angeles and San Francisco.

I hope Josh is okay along with everyone else in California. That's a pretty strong earthquake right?

Yes PTA 6.5 is a pretty strong quake but thankfully the epicenter was not at a big city but a more sparse populated area.

Is that considered a bad one? I have no clue about magnitudes of them.

Hope Josh is okay.

Lindaloo if this 6.5 quake occured in the center of SF or LA that damage and people injured and dead would be very high but thankfully this quake was centered in central California near San Simeon where not many people live.

My prayers go out to all invloved. :( I am happy this didn't occur in a major west coast city. Hopefully none of our members were affected :wink:

I'm still waiting for the "BIG ONE" along the San Andreas....most of CA floats out to sea, and the Dems lose 1/2 of their national party base and funding.

Well, I can dream, can't I? :wink:

My family in San Diego is fine....the boys didn't feel it at all. Was a little worried for a short time because Jason was supposed to be working on a ladder at his house....not a good time for a quake!!!

But all is well in San Diego...not so lucky up the coast!

I am OK, I am OK. :) Just took a nap and paid my bills. Knew we had one but my grandpa didn't. Thanks for your concern. :D
