Was Santa good to you?

#1 Postby CajunMama » Thu Dec 25, 2003 9:08 am

What a delightful Christmas for me. My son came home for the night and me, my husband, daughter and son all enjoyed our time together. My daughter and I attended Christmas Eve Mass together last night.

Plus Santa was real good to me (no snow tho!). I got a beautiful gold/diamond bracelet and a pearl bracelet with matching earrings. I also recieved a chiminea to warm up my patio on cold winter nights when I want to sit out there. My husband also gave me a gift certificate to the hair salon I go to for a facial and a manicure. My son gave me my all time favorite Godiva Raspberry Cordials!

I hope your Christmas is full of warmth, love and family. Merry Christmas!

Santa's doin a decent job so far. :) I've received $20 and a weather calendar :D from my roommate and his parents, and the following are all from the company that takes care of me:

1) Set of PJ's
2) New pair of socks
3) Roll of film
4) New stick of deodorant
5) Mini flashlight
6) Some bubble gum

(Items 3-6 came in my stocking. :) )

Also last night, my neighbors surprised me with a verrrrrrrry comfortable king sized blanket for my bed. :D Man that thing is nice!

The only bad things? 1) It is raining today and 2) No dad today (first time in 21+ years  ). Other than that it's OK so far. :)

I did well, too. I received an HP 3.2 digital camera. And Santa paid off the $400 balance owed on my computer.

Santa was good to me! My children gave me: scarf, candle dish/candle, and gift certificates. My husband gave me what I've been asking for a long time - a new pea coat. Still keeping my old ratty wool one (great for sledding with the kids) but now I'll have a decent looking coat for social outings.

But I much prefer giving more than receiving. Having children does that to you! I love seeing my children's faces when they open a gift they didn't expect. That's a little hard to pull off now, they're 13 and 16, and ask for specific items, but I did manage to surprise them with a few things. :-)

Hi everybody, Merry Christmas!

Our Christmas gifts started early, our trip to Florida for my mothers wedding, seeing all of our extended family, our day at The Magic Kingdom, stay at the Carribbean Beach Resort, on Disney property, our stay in New Orleans, and the wonderful memories w made on our trip.

Today, my magic was watching the surprised, happy looks on our childrens faces as they opened their gifts! NOTHING is more exciting then childrens joy at Christmas!

Besides our trip, Brian got me a bottle of my favorite parfume, Allure by Chanel, and a fabulous make up kit! The redecorating of our bedroom was also a gift.

Having my children, happy and healthy, and having my marraige happy and healthy, are two very precious gifts, today, and always.

God Bless you all, and in the joys of your recieving and giving gifts, remember to take time to praise the birth of our Saviour!

Merry Christmas Storm2k!
