If this is so, it's a really sad government that we have. Stephen Hatfill's life will never be the same again after all the accusations and innuendos that were slung at him.

Reminds me of the man who was accused of being the Atlanta Olympics bomber. Between the law and the media, they crucified him and his life will never be the same, either.

I would consider the Anthrax attacks as terrorism yes. I would also consider the Atlanta Olympic bombing terrorism as well as Oklahoma City.

They all put fear into the country even if only for a short time. This makes them terrorism.

Lets hope we don't get attacked again in the near future.

That's not the point. I agree that this was a kind of terrorism but the government, in both instances, pointed their fingers at people who seemingly were not involved. You have to know that it is going to be so difficult for these two men to pick up the pieces and go on with their lives. Careers were ruined. Families have been torn apart. Suspicion was planted where there may never have been cause for it.

It's not like a Michael Jackson case where he went on the record beforehand and said he liked little boys and slept with them. These men were not known public figures until our government made it their business to cast them into the spotlight. So what do you say now, "oops, we're sorry?" I know that wouldn't cut it with me if I was in their shoes.
