Day after Christmas....

#1 Postby Guest » Fri Dec 26, 2003 7:01 pm

So how many of you went shopping or had gifts to exchange.....Went to the mall myself - but ended up buying some things for my mom. Things she said she needed after Christmas was all said and done....so I'm showing her....got them for her and wrapping them up and giving them to her when they get back from their trip....

Didn't see that many exchanges - mostly just people buying - guess gift cards are the way to go and then folks can go out and buy whatever they want....some good sales....wish I had money to buy....

Well I hope everyone had a very Blessed Christmas and now onto New Years - ringing in 2004.....

going shopping tomorrow, to spend some of the money I recieved that I did not put into my checking account, and also to use up the various gift cards I got.

I'd imagine today was pretty active in the stores, but even though tomorrow is TWO days after Christmas, it's a Saturday and it should be just as active.

Happy holidays and a great new years to all!

I only went food shopping and bought additional wrapping paper on sale for $.75 for 50 sq ft. I didn't need to return anything and I did get quite a few gift cards as well.

Marty gave me $100 in gift certificates to STS Tire & Auto center for new tires (that I desparately need). That's where I'll be hanging out tomorrow.

I hope everyone's Christmas was wonderful!

Lucky you Stephanie - I need new tires for my Avalanche - one tire costs me over $100 bucks. That will be something I have to spring for in January - I'm driving on Bald Eagles now.......

That was something that I asked for for Christmas. I have over 80,000 miles on my Honda Accord (2000), and they are the original tires. Needless to say, I've been doing some hydroplaning lately in these past storms!

At least you really don't have snow to really worry about, so you should be able to get by alright on your "Bald Eagles".

I went to Foley's at 8:30 this morning...just needed to pick up some Levi's for me but couldn't walk out with just jeans! lol! Found a great Blazer for $43 (originally $105) and a shirt for $8 to go with it! No lines to check out that early but my daughter went later on and said she spent most of her time in line to check out.
