Las Vegas Rental Companies are being alerted not to rent trucks to "suspicious" looking people. Hmmm...

Now why would any self respecting terrorist want to leave a paper trail for renting a truck. While it seems like a good idea if I was a terrorist I would steal a truck. Here is a partial list from someone else of missing stuff. I have seen larger lists but can't get my fingers on them right now.

STOLEN or MISSING IN THE AMERICAS 2002/2003
Missing 727 converted to a tanker/cargo
Stolen Ammonium Nitrate (tones)
Stolen Nitric Acid (tones)
Stolen Borac Acid
Stolen Lithium
Stolen Cyanide (30 tones)
Stolen Plastic Explosives (tones)
Stolen Dynamite (tones)
Stolen Tanker Truck
Stolen Airplanes (3)
Missing Crop Dusters (3 total - and the owners is missing as well, Saudi Owned). My brother asked me if I heard of this and I did not. He was staying in FL. When he heard it over the news. This was 1 month before 9-11)
Stolen VISA Machine
Missiles Smuggled into the US (at least 125 SAMs and 25 RPGs)
Stolen Radiation Machines (9)
Stolen Small Arms (several Hundred)
Stolen FedEx Double Tandem Tractor Trailer
Stolen Tractor Trailers (3)
Stolen Police Uniforms
Stolen Fire Department Uniforms
Missing UPS Uniforms (30,000?)
Stolen Airline Uniforms

A lot of stuff is out there. Something eerie tells me that Al Qaeda has it. I sure hope they don't. But with how alert we are right now it wouldn't surprise me..
