Ever had anything Stolen??

#1 Postby chadtm80 » Fri Jan 02, 2004 10:02 am

I had a Motor stolen off the back of one of my boats once.. Boat was parked in my back yard.. We had a privacy fence and had it locked with a big old master lock.. And they were still able to get it.. Must of climbed the fence toook the motor off, then handed it over the fence and they were off.. Jerk offs!!!

So have you ever had anything stolen??

Ahhh, the other side of luck, boy can I chime in on this one!!

In 2002, within two months, I had my car broken into TWICE!! The first time I lost $450 in stereo equipment (and passenger window-A$$holes!), and the second time I lost all my cd's which was a LOT and both passenger windows (even bigger A$$holes!!) After the second occurence, and more windows to replace, I decided not to lock my doors, and put a sign on my newly replaced (again) passenger window that said "If you jerkoffs feel the need to steal from me again, open the $@#% door, it's unlocked!" And my little triangle passenger window? Never fixed it, car is foreign and they wanted $350 for the dang thing- HA!!

Then recently my Noaa weather radio was stolen!! WTF?!

Most expensive thing I have ever had stolen was in my freshmen year in High School.

I made the mistake of bringing a video game to school cause a friend of mine wanted to borrow it. He ended up stealing it instead..

My wife's car was once stolen, back when we had started dating. A couple of 18 year old boys broke into it and stole it at about 10 AM from the Temple University campus. Luckily, it was recovered within a few hours (with one of the windows broken).

my grandfather's car was stolen two Julys ago.

They were loading the pick-up at 5:30 a.m. and he put the key and then went back in to get one last load and just as soon as he got inside he heard tires squealing. He looked outside to see his car flying around the corner. It was found 2 hours later on a county road driven through a fence with a lot of damage along with 2 other cars. They all three had been stolen. The four teens who did it were on parole  and were sent to jail.

My house was broken into years ago. It is the most terrible feeling. You feel so invaded. My jewelry and money was stolen. They took a glass cutter and went thru a bedroom window in broad daylight.
We had woods behind our house at the time so no one saw them and they were never caught.

A bicycle from my garage when I was a kid. A wheel from a locked bicycle when I was at college.

Once I left my wallet at the laudromat and when I came back, it was there, but with the money gone.

My one son has had about 3 bicylces stolen when he goes places. I haven't replaced the last one.

We've had sundry items such as money, cigarettes, and jewelry stolen by our no-good niece. She also stole part of my boys' childhood by exposing them to mature stuff when they were too young. If she ever shows her skanky face around here again.....

Some fool broke into my teenager's car and stole his stereo equipment. We never found for sure who did it but had a good idea! I was so mad!

I was robbed at gunpoint too when I worked at a convenience store as a manager. I do not think I have been as scared of anything since. They caught the SOB after he robbed another store that night. He was found guilty and went to prison where he comitted suicide.

In my first apartment (back in '91), somebody(s) broke in through the fire escape, stole my stereo, cassettes, Nintendo, a 6-pack of beer from my fridge... but what really got me mad was they hit and injured my chihuahua, Vern. The poor thing had a big gash on her back, was bruised, and she hid under the furniture for the next 3 weeks.
