For a few years..

#5 Postby azskyman » Sat Jan 10, 2004 8:11 am

Back in the 80's into the early 90's, I was part of a pretty active group of weather enthusiasts known as the Association of American Weather Observers. In fact, I was publisher of our monthly newsletter, the American Weather Observer. Joe was active in the group...and in fact was a name that kept popping up over the years for his love of weather.

So when I saw his name again...I recognized it right away! Bet he would know mine, too...and at the very least, would remember AWO days as the "good old days".

Rick...let me thank you again for dropping Joe Snedeker's name. I dropped him a note, and he wrote me back. He sure did remember me! ...and he was impressed that I would remember him.

Thanks again...just another reason why Storm2k is such a neat place to call home.
