Blatant Disrespect

#1 Postby janswizard » Fri Jan 16, 2004 11:55 am

Michael Jackson arrived late to the courthouse. If traffic had been a factor, that may have been a good excuse. But anyone watching the networks and seeing his arrival, he took his time walking into the courthouse and made sure that he acknowledged his fans, including shaking hands with some of them. Am I the only one who feels this is a a blatant disrespect for the court and justice system?

He should be held in contempt of hte courts also. THis is ridiculous. He sure seems to think that he should get special treatment because of his former star status. He is counting on another OJ-esque trial I am sure.

I would go into a rant about this, but would be considered by some to be a racist slant, so I digress.

Anyone notice the arm-band he was wearing? I didn't hear any of the networks comment on it. I wonder what that was all about.....

Guilty already, in my book. What grown man in his right mind would invite kids over and SLEEP with them???

That's part of the problem. We don't know all the evidence. It's one's story vs. another and we're ASSUMING he slept with them. I'm sure his defense will argue that, as he pointed out in one interview, "sharing your bed" does not always mean sleeping in the same bed. He says that he shared his bed with the boy (as in, allowed him to sleep there) while he slept on the floor. Still weird, not doubt. But not necessarily sexual. The prosecution will have to prove, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that there was sexual behavior. An adult having a child in their bedroom is suspicious enough. But proving something inappropriate happened...that's another story.

I still feel that all of this is about money. I know that sounds crazy but I can't help it. If he was guilty of sexual abuse then why would he get on National TV saying that he lets the boys sleep in the bed while he sleeps on the floor. Doesn't make sense.

Sadly I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Not anymore. His actions only prove his cold attitude towards this delicate situation. I think he gained fame and fortune soo early in life he feels like he is untouchable. He will see soon he is not. So much talent.. sadly.. WASTED!!

I have to agree with you Johnathan. I gave him the benefit of a doubt with the earlier child molestation charge that was paid off. I realize that he is innocent until proven guilty and THANK GOD we abide by that, but as a grown man, he should've understood from the first charge that perhaps it wasn't a good idea to allow kids to share his bed and stop. Michael Jackson still thinks he's above it all and even if he isn't molesting the children, he should've considered how it would affect them emotionally. He's only being selfish IMHO and treating the whole matter like a joke.

"Jacko" is a walking violation of the Laws of Nature; it's a shame that the judge can't enforce those laws.
