BREAKING STORY
We have two stories developing at this hour...one is that a historic church in Dayton, KY has burnt to the ground, according to Channel 9 WCPO News. Around 10am, smoke from the First Baptist Church of Dayton could be seen from Cincinnati. The building is a near total loss. Also, a car has blown up here in Florence. It happened in the last hour on the corner of Oblique Street and Center St, according to my brother Mark. There is no report of injuries as of this time.

Bill - I can tell you're joking.
But I guess when a church, an old historic one at that, burns down, well it's not a laughing matter. Sorry, JMO.
BTW Jeremy, my brother Gerry and his wife live just a few blocks from this church. They hosted xmas this past year and we all remarked how beautiful this church was as we drove by. All stone and stained glass windows.
Blow torches.....should be outlawed! My husband's house growing up caught fire b/c a plumber was trying to thaw frozen pipes with one, during the winter of 77. As soon as we heard this news story and what caused it, Jim just groaned and sighed.

Sorry, I just didn't understand the attack on Catholics and I didn't get that it was a joke.
If someone asks what religion I am, my answer is usually simply "Christian." I'm concerned more about my faith and less about religious doctrine. I was raised Catholic (as mentioned in another post) and I did gain a lot from that as well as from attending Baptist, Methodist, and other protestant Christian churches. But I know some people tend to have their stereotypes against Catholics and tend to question their thinking when they attack me personally because of my upbringing. The worst case was when some members of a cult tried to tell me my baptism was invalid because I was baptized "in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit" and not "in the Name of Jesus."
Sorry about misunderstanding, Bill. You just hit a nerve and I mis-reacted.
