What's your favorite PC game?
Years ago, I tried to play MYST. But since I have no musical talent whatsoever, I couldn't get my ears tuned in to the part where you have to set the levers in the spaceship so that they play the notes from an earlier clue in a book (if you've played, you'll know what I'm talking about). But I loved the whole set-up -- virtual reality, 3-D scape, eerie music, cool graphics, lots of clue gathering. And it's challenging so it takes a while to play. Never really liked Sonic or Mario Brothers or any of those types of games.
I don't have a PlayStation or any of those other non-PC game systems because I really don't have much time to play. But I'm interested in what you guys play when/if you do.
Also, anyone know any cool flight sim games?

I was on a "Word Whomp kick" a couple years ago. I access a few games on Pogo Games at times; (which I mentioned it in another thread)... I've been there a couple times in the last couple of weeks.

TLC used to be into flight sim games. Next time she posts you'll have to ask her about it Shawn. I don't know anything about that area though!
I do enjoy building a city on Sim City. Haven't done that in over a year though. Hubby keeps installing a better Mac OS and forgetting to add games like that. A simple game of solitairre is a nice break too. I need to pester him to add them. I know, I know, I should know how to do all that.....
My kids are into playing the Sims, big time. They could spend hours with their "families", LOL! Thankfully they have homework and activities but on breaks I can hardly get the computer away from them!

Me too Dennis - it's a nice little coffee break isn't it? I miss playing. Need to get Jim to install it again. My dad played Solitaire every single day, with actual cards mind you. They were always spread out on his coffee table. He's gone now, but I'm sure he'd be surprised at card games on computers!

I dont know what my favorite game would be. I go through so many spurts. I could easily sit down and play SimGolf or the Sims serious...to playing Command and Conquer: The Generals. I guess it just depends on what kind of mood I'm in and what I feel like playing at that particular moment.

We have PS2, so thats hubby's domain. I like playing Age of empires and age of conqueres. I also enjoy most of the Tom Clancy Rainbow six and splinter cell games. Hubby is big into the flight simulation games.. he has foot pedals and sticks and what nots lying all over the place. I just crash.. at least I crash well

I just got Sim City Deluxe Edition on Thursday. It sure will take some getting use to.
I have SimCity 3000 Unlimited; I am not impressed with it and even more so when I had lower memory in the last several months with my new computer, much less, now with my newer computer it would freeze several minutes after starting or resuming my city.
