#1 Postby rainstorm » Fri Jan 23, 2004 9:33 am

it will be called "door to door" . she plays a girl that goes to hollywood and works as a doorwoman, and people come up to her and tell her they can make her a star. THIS SOUNDS BIG!!

I just hope she is better as an actress than many others singers who thought they could also act.

If Britney ever wins an oscar... well umm ... it just aint ever gonna happen! She is pretty, but Meryl Streep she is not.

Is Helen really a Helen or is he really Herman? Just curious to this obsession with Britney.

Well, I don't care much for Britney Spears.

The only female pop artists I like were Brandy, Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Lopez/J.Lo, Jessica Simpson, and.....that's about it.

Patty Duke...Oscar...yes
Hilary Swank...Oscar...yes
Meryl Streep...Oscar...yes
Britney Spears...Oscar. You must be kidding.

She's attractive, when she's not being overly "attractive" (I won't use that sl-- word). I won't deny that. Blondes...*sigh* But as an actress???? I'd burn my Writer's Guild card if they ever cast her for one of my flicks.

Sounds like a lame plot to me. One that has been done over and over before the rags to riches saga.
Britney with an oscar?? The only oscar she will be getting is one of those fish....

Oh! I agree she is a very beautiful young woman, and if she would've stayed with her image before the current image, she might have stood a chance. But IMO, the oscars are not only about talent, but also image. (at least it should be)

It is about image. Look at what happened to Russell Crow. He should have received the Oscar one year for a Beautiful Mind. It was given to Denzel Washington instead for Training Day, which IMO he did not deserve.
