Plenty of blood spilled in Iraq on saturday

http://www.cnn.com/2004/WORLD/meast/01/ ... index.html

3 US soldiers were killed when a convoy was hitted with enemy fire. And 9 Iraqies died when a car bomb exploded in front of a police station so the situation in Iraq still is very tense and far to be completly resolved.

Sad...my bestfriend's hubby is leaving to go back over to Iraq on Monday. He's had two weeks of R & R here in the states. We need to remember to pray for all of our guys and girls over there on a daily basis.

Yes the men and woman of the US armed forces are doing a great job over there but sacrifices come with what they are doing.

Yeah...too close. I know about 15 people who are over there right now, and whenever something like this happens I start to worry. Thankfully, none of them were involved in this.

Best wishes for your friend and her husband...I'm sure everyone is ready for the war to end soon.
