Are there plans being contemplated?

For a Houston/Gavleston get together this year? I remember it being mentioned awhile back but have heard nothing as of late. Or is the meet and greet thing precluding this altogether?

We will still be having the regional get together at the Hou/Gal Hurricane Workshop on Tuesday May 25 from 5pm-9pm at the Pasadena Convention Center. We may decide to meet earlier for lunch/dinner, if anyone is willing.

You learn something new everyday. :)

calendar

NOUN: 1. Any of various systems of reckoning time in which the beginning, length, and divisions of a year are defined.
2. A table showing the months, weeks, and days in at least one specific year.
3. A schedule of events.
4. An ordered list of matters to be considered: a calendar of court cases; the bills on a legislative calendar.
5. Chiefly British A catalog of a university.
TRANSITIVE VERB: Inflected forms: cal·en·dared, cal·en·dar·ing, cal·en·dars
To enter in a calendar; schedule.

ETYMOLOGY: Middle English calender, from Old French calendier, from Late Latin kalendrium, from Latin, account book, from kalendae, calends (from the fact that monthly interest was due on the calends).

I HATE that I'll be missing the Houston/Galveston meet up. :( I'll be there in spirit though...I'm leaving some of me behind in the wonderful deep south!
