FORT WORTH, Texas (KXAS NBC5) -- Authorities in Denton County plan to arrest a 13-year-old boy when he returns from spring break vacation with his family after police in Double Oak allegedly found bomb-making instructions and school maps in his backpack.
Authorities said the teen's backpack was found near a pond. When authorities went through the backpack, they discovered the instructions and maps of a school's ventilation system. Police would not say whether or not the maps were of the boy's school, Clayton Downing Middle School.
Police and firefighters searched the teen's residence on the 200 block of Twin Lakes Drive, as well as the boy's middle school.
While police would not say what they found inside the boy's home they did say that two officers were exposed to a substance and that the substance was ingested. The officers became ill and were treated at an area hospital.
Classes at Clayton Downing Middle School are not affected by the findings as the campus is on spring break.
Police plan to take the teen into custody upon his return. His parents have reportedly arranged for his surrender.

Ok what were they eating? Do they make a habit out of sampling evidence themselves?
