I just read this on one of the local TV station's website. You knew it was only going to be time for a lawsuit over the Super Bowl halftime show came to life.

Utah Man Sues Over Super Bowl 'Wardrobe Malfunction'

POSTED: 10:17 a.m. EST March 18, 2004

SALT LAKE CITY -- A Utah man is suing the parent company of CBS and MTV over the "wardrobe malfunction" during the Super Bowl halftime show.

Eric Stephenson has filed a small claims case, claiming Viacom "deceptively advertised the content and quality" of the Super Bowl show.

A Viacom lawyer said the suit has no legal merit and is confident it will be thrown out.

The notorious number during halftime at the Super Bowl ended with singer Justin Timberlake ripping off Janet Jackson's bustier and exposing her breast.

Timberlake said the routine ended with a "wardrobe malfunction."

Last week, the House of Representatives overwhelmingly passed legislation that would boost the maximum indecency fine to $500,000 per incident. The Senate is considering a comparable increase.
