Storm2k Rules of Conduct

Our rules are the same as they were day one, and we are NOT changing the rules. The same rules apply for EVERYONE whether you're a Met, a Mod or an ADMIN. FYI there use to be four admins, and now there are two because rules apply to everyone here. Im sorry if you dont like the rules and that is just fine.. Obviously not everyone is going to. Thats life, but everyone will follow them. Simple. and I do mean everyone.

It is because of these rules and their enforcement that S2K is my favorite board to visit and post on. It is quite refreshing to be able to post one's opinion and not be called every name in the book just because someone disagrees.

I'd suggest PM'ing that person and asking what he/she meant PaolofromRome. I know I tend to shorten names if they're as long as yours is, no offense meant. Could be as simple as that.

Chad - thanks for reminding me also why I love Storm2K and why I joined in the first place.

Hey you changed my original post!!! I hope it was meant nicely......I was merely trying to steer you to A. the PM option. and 2. to consider it was just a shortening of your nic, let's see who I do I shorten around here...... GalvestonDuck is one, I've called her Duckie! Shawn doesn't seem to mind.

To PM or not to, it's up to you PaolofromRome. I like the PM feature myself.

apologises, it was a typing error. "Mary" was not intended to be showed.
Normally I avoid to quote the whole message, but just what it is necessary. When deleting, "Mary" remained in the text, sorry again.

I was anyway just trying to play down, not to create more stress.
By the way, my name is Paolo, guess PaolofromRome is quite easy
to be shortened in "Paolo", "From" or "Rome" :wink:

I don't mind at all. My mom and friends all called me Shawnie when I was young. :)

Duckie works for me. It's a term of endearment, as far as I can tell. GD is fine too, even though it's also the abbreviation for an offensive curse. I don't mind it because I know it's simply faster than typing out my full S2K name. :)

I couldn't agree more Chad. People may not like the rules here but they will be enforced. :-)

Great post. :) I agree 100% There are no exceptions. My Opinion is this. If you don't like the way things are done here then you are more than welcome to leave. :wink:

AGREED on that statement and the following as well...

Between 'day one' (Tuesday, October 8 th, 2002) and when I became a more frequent poster between early to mid March
through May 2003 I was only aware of the three.

I assume many members don't know who it was.

The other original Admin was Azrainman. He got mad one night and interntionally shutdown the site to prove he could lock us all out. I guess we showed him how we felt about that. ;-)

Gee... that must of happened back in the first few months when I wished I knew about the site beyond "just registering."
