The USMC now has switched from the old Ka-Bar to a new, 8" blade combination fighting knife/bayonet...still made by Ontario and Camillus, no fuller ("blood groove") and has a thermoplastic grip stamped with the Eagle, Orb and Anchor.

If you look closely at the buttcap, you will see the groove for the bayonet lug clearly.

I WANT ONE!!!! :(

Helen, I'd add it to my collection of "silent partners"...stationed all over the house in strategic locations (but hidden to the eye), "just in case".
