(originally sent out as email; thought y'all might enjoy takin' a peek. tryin' to get better with the camera. this will be an ever growing gallery.)

since the weather was so nice here on sunday, we took the opportunity to head up to Weldon Springs Park located about 20 miles N of our home in Decatur IL. in enjoying the walk around the lake, we got some pretty cool pictures of nature coming alive. we also toured a nearby area that was hard hit by a tornado on May 30th of 2003 and snapped a few pics of damage still present. although the buildings we saw all had new roofs, siding and windows, the trees still tell the tale nearly one year later. enjoy! p
