FIRE AT MY SCHOOL!!!!!

#1 Postby TexasStooge » Wed May 05, 2004 2:10 pm

At exactly 2:00PM CDT today, there's a fire near the Boy's 2nd floor bathroom, Just a couple of rooms away from my current classroom! They rang the fire alarms at that time, The first time was when I was ready to print my essay out ready to turn in. A minute after that, they rang again right in my ears while we were exiting the school.

More updates to come.

The fire is contained. I could still smell the smoke from the bathroom, the cause of the fire was a trash can burning, guess someone was smokin' in the bathroom while class is in session. So far, nobody got hurt, unless there were a couple of fights on the other side of the building.

I'll have more updates as soon as I get them.

A few minutes before the dismissal bell rang, the Principal, or Vice-Principal, or whoever is on the intercom has announced that someone decided to light the trash can on fire in the bathroom. The bathroom was barely remodeled, but kids nowadays would go out of their way to re-destroy it.

The culprit may be one of the students from West Dallas who enrolled at my school.

To add, the Arson investigaters from the Irving Fire Department are giving out a $500-2,000 reward to whoever caught the culprit. Can't wait to get my hands on that dough.

Locking down the bathrooms is a violation of the law as I understand it. They better have at least one available for use by everyone at the school!! I mean when ya gotta go, ya GOTTA GO!!

Good point. If the imbecile didn't set the trash can on fire in the first place, we wouldn't have this problem.

They now have the restrooms open, but only the south hall ones until further notice.

A friend of mine who used to come to the school I'm at now told me that back in the 1970s, the old auditorium at the same school was set on fire by arsonists, the props, curtains, lighting, everything in there was destroyed.

People must have nothing better to do if they are setting school bathrooms on fire

On the other bathrooms that I went to, something tells me that someone attemted to try & set the other bathrooms on fire, just by the slight scorching of the paper towel dispenser.
