Some aren't worth the risk but I agree we need to find places here to provide oil and not have to depend on other nations.

We already have reserves capped off here in the United States. I agree that we need to use them, especially now that the economy is on the rebound.

Exactly. It's nice to see that there are more and more hybrid cars being made. I hope that continues.

We are at or very near capacity and our refineries can't process enough of it.

The posts or stuff said are NOT an official forecast and my opinion alone. Please look to the NHC and NWS for official forecasts and products.

Model Runs Cheat Sheet:
GFS (5:30 AM/PM, 11:30 AM/PM)
HWRF, GFDL, UKMET, NAVGEM (6:30-8:00 AM/PM, 12:30-2:00 AM/PM)
ECMWF (1:45 AM/PM)
TCVN is a weighted averaged

Opinions my own.

I don't know about any other floridians but I don't want a rig off my coast. Our biggest industry is tourism. A spill of large proportions could decimate our economy

Isn't there a site in Long Island sound that is a prime place for a wind farm, but it happens to be in the view of the Kennedy compound?

I understand the NIMBY concerns. So what are we supposed to do?
