Hillary Clinton stamp recall(Joke)

#1 Postby Brent » Wed May 19, 2004 12:28 pm

Subject: Stamp Recall

The US Postal Service has issued a recall of a stamp they created with a picture of now US Senator Hillary Clinton to honor her achievements while serving as the First Lady of our nation.

The problem was discovered when claims had been made that the stamp was not sticking to envelopes, and that mail which had been sent using the "Hillary" postage was not being delivered. Senator Clinton demanded a full investigation into the allegations.

A special Postal Service Investigation team was formed and after several months and many dollars spent, made the following findings:

*The stamp was manufactured properly.
*There was nothing wrong with the adhesive.
*People were just spitting on the wrong side.

Why do they dislike her???

#2 Postby SolarQuestions » Wed May 19, 2004 3:44 pm

Why do some people dislike Hillary so much? I think she is an amazing woman....I like her....I'll tell you why they dislike her because she is smart, outspoken and not just a "be seen and not heard" type of woman.....Most "men" and some "women" would like to see a woman who keeps her mouth shut and is a total submissive slave with no real back bone to speak up no matter how much wrong she sees. That is NOT my kind of woman ...i love intelligent outspoken women who will speak up as a human being beyond their gender. I dont like submissive dumb dumbs.

I'm pretty outspoken myself and I assure you that's not why I dislike her.

Well, FDNY Mike Moran said it best at a post-9/11 Hillary appearance when he said that she doesn't believe most of what she says. I agree with that. She doesn't have a sincere bone in her body.

As for submissive...she got booed off the stage and was barely there for 30 seconds. :)

As for Mike Moran...I still have the .wav file of him saying "On behalf of my brother, John, and the 12 members from Ladder 3 that we've lost and the 20 men of the New York City Fire Department Football Team that we've lost and all the people from my neighborhood, my hometown, Rockaway Beach, Queens, New York, our friends, our neighbors, our relatives...They are not gone because they are not forgotten. And I just want to say one more thing. In the spirit of the Irish people, Osama bin Laden, YOU CAN KISS MY ROYAL, IRISH @SS!! And I live in Rockaway Beach, and this is my face, b!tch!"

name one "first lady" of the white house that looked sincere....there arent any ...they live privileged sheltered lives ...how can they have total empathy for anothers life that is so different? Jimmy Carters wife seemed the most compassionate in my opinion.

Looked sincere? Who cares about appearances? A great actress can "look" sincere, but not BE sincere.

To name one who was sincere, IMO - Nancy Reagan. Based on what I've read (because I'm too young to really know) -- Eleanor Roosevelt, Abigail Adams, and Sarah Polk.

There's a million reasons why I don't like her. And being a loudmouth doesn't make her better than Bush's wife. At least Laura has some class. :)

I try not to mock or ridicule anyone ...i try not to make hurtful jokes or name call anyone ....i dont have the heart for it....but hey thats me.....I wouldnt like it done to me and i couldnt do it to another ....If i have in any way i apologize to that person ...and i invite anyone to point out if i have done it to another ...i will be more than happy to apologize.

Wow, this came out of left field. It's ok to disagree.

Yes it is SQ probably for the most part, but there are Democrats that don't like Democrats and Republicans that don't like Republicans.

whatever happened

#19 Postby SolarQuestions » Wed May 19, 2004 7:53 pm

Whatever happened to our humanity.....we should try to go beyond politics and see our humanity. We are quickly loosing our humanity...with this nonsense war and this nonsense greed in the world. We are NOT evolving into something better we are stagnating like pigs stuck in the mud.
