In the CHOIR! :)

#1 Postby Josephine96 » Sun May 23, 2004 1:19 pm

A little bit of good news today.. I'm in the church choir finally.. sort of lol

On Fathers Day.. Our church is having men lead the choir in worship {whether or not they are a dad or not}

I decided this morning I want to be a part of this.. It'll give me a chance to see what the choir is like.. and plus I'll get to perform in front of the 100's of people that come to service.. {even if I'm just 1 with a few others performing}

The rehearsal is on Saturday June 19th @ 10:30 am. Unless something comes up out of nowhere, I plan on being there. :)

Woo Hoo!

Yeah.. I figured this would give me the oppurtunity to see what the choir would be like, and it'd give me a chance to see if I wanted to be in the choir for real

Congratulations. Tune up those high notes!

Last time I went to choir practice was over on the weather.com boards. My voice was so bad that they kept deliberately telling me that practice was on a different night so I wouldn't show up!

You'll do GREAT , John!! :D

Today was the first day I'd been in a church in a LONG time...this move with my folks and I really takes the cake for the absence from church...but we're back in the groove and will be visiting churches in N. Raleigh and Wake Forest over the next months. :)

Thanks for all the support guys. Tonight I even got recognized in church for my work as a greeter. Not bad considering I have only been doing it since the Strength Team Crusade back on 3/31-4/4.

John, singing in the choir is so very rewarding. I sang in our church choir and directed the Jr. Choir for many, many years. It made me feel really good inside!!!!!!
