Lets hope this is not a foreshadowing of things to come in the future in the battle for Baghdad.
Also, the iraqis are hiding in civilian areas. We probably should target these areas to save the lives of our soldiers who will have to take these cities. Why were are worrying about the arabs hating us is not comprehended by me as most arabs in the region hate us anyways, no matter what we do
Iraqi troops resisting more than expected

Remember those empty building housed millions of dollars worth of equipment that enables the communications and control of the military in Iraq! Sounds like a prime target to me! This war is not about killing as many people as we can, but about ridding the world of the regime of Saddam Hussein and his cronies.

Derek, notice that France has been waiting for a general outburst of rage from the Islamic countries to shore up it's intransigent stance; this has NOT happened, which throws more egg in Jacques Chirac's face as time goes by.
In fact, those areas we have liberated have seen people dancing in the streets, tearing down Saddam posters and locals leading us to hiding Iraqi military/administration persons.
More egg in Chirac's face! No omelettes in Paris this morning...
