One more month because already it has taken more than a week and the invasion into Baghdad has not happened and there will be more troops 130,000 to go there in the comming weeks so for that reason I say 1 month more.

We have multiple tasks laid out for us; besides the obvious taking out the regime, we have to hunt down the clandestine cells within, feed and restart the water and services for the people, THEN stop the oil fires, start up the petro production and keep the country "pacified" until a suitable interim government can be formed.

It won't be tomorrow, or even a month...there are wheels within wheels here.

We will be fighting this war for a long time ahead...if the guerilla warfare tactics keep up, it will slow us down considerably as far as ending the war is concerned. If you consider the end of the war the surrender/capture/killing of Saddam Hussein, it could already be over or it might never happen.

The war will end quickly--if you mean the battle for Baghdad and the end of Saddam's regime....IMO within 2-3 weeks. However...the peace in Iraq may be a very long time in coming...if ever. There are just so many factions that hate and distrust each other; and terrorists of all type....with one thing in common: they all hate the U.S. and Israel with a fanatical rage.

In fact, according to bible prophecy, that area of the world will someday be an integral part of the "Battle of Armageddon"....as a 200,000,000 strong army (IMO Red China) crosses the Euphrates River in "Babylon" (Iraq & Syria) to challenge the Antichrist's authority in a horrendous war that will kill 1/3 of the people on earth

OK, let's throw Nostradamus into the prognostications here...

He predicted the WTC attack, but was "off" by two years; however, he did say that this would be a war between the Islamic East and the West, and we will eventually have to take on the entire "10-40 Window" (from Morocco to Indonesia, the sphere of Muslim influence)...and the West would emerge victorious. Now, the bad news..this war is predicted to last 27 years, and will involve the whole of the nations, both Islamic and Western in orientation...dynamic vs. static, 7th Century mentalities vs. post-modern Western thought.

He isn't the only person who saw that this was inevitable...Rudyard Kipling, Lord Kitchener, Charles "Chinese" Gordon, all saw the "red borders" around Islam becoming too restrictive to the Muslim need for forced conversion to "the Will of Allah", if not world domination...think on this.

And, just so the lesson has bearing to the present, why is it that Islam is the fastest-growing faith in Europe and America? Think on this, as well.

I meant the military operation to remove Saddams regime and the Baghdad operation but I know that it will take some years to make a new goverment there.
